Indeed, comparison of TB and NCB between high ApoC-III subgroups based on ApoE-HDL-C levels showed a statistically significant difference (0.94 ± 0.43 vs. 1.15 ± 0.40, P = 0.002; 0.90 ± 0.42 vs. 1.08 ± 0.37, P = 0.01, respectively). The gene discussed is APOE; the disease is tuberculosis.
