RHOJ, a known regulator of melanoma (Ruiz et al., 2017), breast cancer (Wang et al., 2017), and gastric cancer (Kim et al., 2016a) progression, activates signaling cascades in endothelial cells that are required for tumor angiogenesis (Wilson et al., 2014; Kim et al., 2014; Takase et al., 2012) and induces PAK signaling in tumor cells to promote growth (Ruiz et al., 2017). The gene discussed is RHOJ; the disease is neoplasm.
