In women with PCOS, 10‐h GM LH pulsatile secretion increased 2.08‐fold (95% CI, 1.41–3.05; p < 0.001) and 2.62‐fold (95% CI, 1.78–3.85; p < 0.001) with placebo and progesterone administration, respectively, with no significant difference between the two (GM ratio 1.26 [95% CI, 0.70–2.27]; p = 0.423). This evidence concerns the gene PLOD1 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
