It has been reported that GBP2 is an interferon stimulus gene (ISG), and its expression can be significantly increased after IFN-γ treatment.27 Meanwhile, signal transducer and transcription activator 1 (STAT1) phosphorylation was significantly activated after IFN-γ stimuli.28 Therefore, we investigated whether the alteration of GBP2 expression could regulate the activation of STAT1 phosphorylation in pMMR/MSS CRC. Here, STAT1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
