Patients in the non-survivor group were significantly older (p = 0.002), and had more underlying diseases such as heart failure (p = 0.037), hepatic disease (p = 0.004), chronic kidney disease (CKD) (p < 0.001), respiratory failure on admission (p < 0.001), poorer PS score (p < 0.001), lower albumin level (p < 0.001), and higher C-reactive protein (CRP) level (p = 0.001) than patients in the survivor group. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and liver disorder.
