NPPB and hypertensive disorder: Compared with participants with higher KCCQ-TSS scores at baseline, those with lower scores were younger; more often women, Black or African American, enrolled in North America, with a history of hypertension and type 2 diabetes; had higher New York Heart Association class, body mass index, and NT-proBNP; and were more likely to have chronic decompensated versus de novo AHF (Table).
