Concerning the proposed mediators of yoga intervention, MDA demonstrated a significant reduction in the yoga group as compared to the control group [(AMD = −63.72, 95% CI = −91.94– (−35.05)], whereas the anti-oxidative markers GSH and SOD indicated a comparative increase in the yoga group [AMD; GSH = 1.08, 95% CI = 0.79–1.37; AMD; SOD = 0.06, 95% CI = 0.010–0.11] as compared to the controls (Table 2). Here, SOD1 is linked to age-related macular degeneration.
