Some angiogenesis regulators, including vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β), matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), and angiopoietins (Angs), are demonstrated to modulate several important cancer-related pathways and are promising prognostic biomarkers of GBM patients (Ahir et al., 2020).
