We further validated that high stromal SFRP2 expression evaluated by immunohistochemistry is significantly linked to an aggressive clinical course and inferior survival in our urothelial carcinoma cohorts containing 340 UTUC and 295 UBUC patients, highlighting the promising prognostic utility of stromal SFRP2 expression. This evidence concerns the gene SFRP2 and renal pelvis/ureter urothelial carcinoma.
