SFRP1 and urinary bladder cancer: Likewise, using the UALCAN platform (http://ualcan.path.uab.edu/cgi-bin/TCGA-methyl-Result.pl?genenam=SFRP1&ctype=BLCA) (http://ualcan.path.uab.edu/cgi-bin/TCGA-methyl-Result.pl?genenam=SFRP2&ctype=BLCA), we speculate that, compared to adjacent normal tissue, both the decreased SFRP1 and SFRP2 transcripts in bladder cancer may ascribe to their increased methylation levels, especially in patients with stage I disease.
