Other natural compounds which have exhibited anti-cancer properties in breast cancer through modulation of STAT3 activity include: naringenin, ilamycin C, esculentoside A, catechol, dihydrotanshinone, DT-13, cucurbitacin E, galiellalactone, schisandrin A, pectolinarigenin, eupalinolide J, betulinic acid, deguelin, picrasidine G, and cantharidin (Table 1) (166–171, 173, 177, 180, 183, 185, 186, 190–192).
