IL33 and familial avascular necrosis of femoral head: Plasma interleukin-33 levels have been described to be significantly raised in osteonecrosis of the femoral head, which may be steroid-induced, alcohol-induced, secondary to an infection, coagulation defects, storage disorders, marrow infiltrating diseases, autoimmune diseases, immoderately low or high temperatures, hyperbaric events, or idiopathic disease.
