Our previous studies showed that BRD7 acted as a tumor suppressor in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) by regulating Wnt/β-catenin, ras/MEK/ERK, Rb/E2F and PTEN/AKT pathways 4-7, and BRD7 interacted with other members of bromodomain-containing protein family members, such as BRD2 and BRD3, to trigger apoptosis and induce cell cycle arrest at G1-S phase 8-10. Here, RB1 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
