Noteworthy, the latest experiments confirmed that polydatin can reduce the expression of c-Myc in human cervical cancer, inhibit cell migration and invasion, and partially reverse the EndMT of cervical cancer cells (Bai et al., 2021), and polydatin can reduce ROS and EndMT in cells exposed to high glucose, which play a therapeutic role in diabetic retinopathy (Giordo et al., 2021).
