DUSP5 and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia: While HPV16 E7-negative cervicitis tissues showed high DUSP5 levels, HPV16 E7-positive cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer tissues showed low DUSP5 expression levels (Figure 1(c)), indicating that DUSP5 plays an important role in disease progression.
