During the EHC experiment, the serum levels of CTRP7 increased significantly with the increase of insulin levels from 132.9 ± 25.8 to 173.2 ± 24.0 μg/L at 80 min, then to 175.3 ± 23.9 μg/L at 100 min, and finally to 179.3 ± 22.8 μg/L at 120 min (Figures 4(b) and 4(c)), indicating that hyperinsulinemia promotes CTRP7 secretion in vivo. This evidence concerns the gene C1QTNF7 and hyperinsulinism.
