miR-145-5p has been found to suppress cancer cell proliferation, invasion, stemness, chemotherapy, and radiation sensitivity in patients with PCa by targeting different regulators such as DNMT3a, TWIST1, ITPR2, AR, and NMT3b (Larne et al., 2015; Wang et al., 2015; Xue et al., 2015; Rajabi et al., 2020; Huang and Tang, 2021). This evidence concerns the gene TWIST1 and posterior cortical atrophy.
