Consistent with this, in the present study, we demonstrated that knockdown of SRSF1 (Fig. 3G) inhibited cell proliferation, whereas overexpression (Fig. 3J) of SRSF1 promoted cell proliferation in BC cells as determined using the colony formation assays (Fig. 3H and K), MTT assays (Fig. 3I and L), and western blotting (Fig. 3M and N). The gene discussed is SRSF1; the disease is breast cancer.
