Arterial hypertension complicated by CHF with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction, regardless of the patient’s sex, is associated with a significant association between blood levels of C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor alpha, and interleukin-6 on the one hand, and indicators characterizing the degree of arterial hypertension, exercise tolerance, left ventricular hypertrophy, diastolic dysfunction, and dilatation of the left atrium on the other hand. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and congestive heart failure.
