TNF and left ventricular hypertrophy: Arterial hypertension complicated by CHF with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction, regardless of the patient’s sex, is associated with a significant association between blood levels of C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor alpha, and interleukin-6 on the one hand, and indicators characterizing the degree of arterial hypertension, exercise tolerance, left ventricular hypertrophy, diastolic dysfunction, and dilatation of the left atrium on the other hand.
