Previous studies demonstrated that FCGR3 gene copy number variations (CNVs) and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are associated with several diseases, especially autoimmune disorders, such as systemic lupus erythematosus [43–45], rheumatoid arthritis [45], ANCA-associated systemic vasculitis (AASV) [43, 46, 47], sarcoidosis [48, 49], and others [50]. The gene discussed is FCGR3B; the disease is autoimmune disease.
