To further investigate the inhibitory mechanism operated by TMEM106A on viral infection, 293A-SCARB2-TMEM106A, a cell line ectopically expressing TMEM106A, was generated and infected with three types of enteroviruses: EV-A71, CV-A16 or CV-A10, with 293A-SCARB2-Ctrl expressing a corresponding empty vector as control. This evidence concerns the gene SCARB2 and viral infectious disease.
