In breast cancer, JMJD6 and EZH2 were found to adjust the same cell cycle regulation genes and therapeutic targets through different mechanisms, resulting in poor prognosis, while inhibition of one of the two molecule does not prevent the malignant progression of cancer (33), which may be caused by the absence of regulatory regions of multiple cell cycle genes similar to those of JMJD6 in EZH2. Here, JMJD6 is linked to breast carcinoma.
