Interestingly, JMJD6 was an essential regulator of AR-V7, and increased JMJD6 was correlated with higher levels of AR-V7, castration resistance and shorter survival, JMJD6 knockdown suppressed the growth of prostate cancer cells, AR-V7 levels, and the introduction of U2AF65 to AR pre-mRNA (49).
