LncRNAs can play several roles in the biological processes such as proliferation (PCNA-AS1), migration (H19), epigenetic regulation (HOTAIR), cell cycle (MALAT), cell death (MEG3), invasion (lncRNA-ATB), angiogenesis (ANRIL), autophagy (H19), apoptosis (PTENP1) and metastasis (HULC); as well as are found to be associated with several diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, diabetes, neurodegenerative disorders, and many types of cancers (32–35). This evidence concerns the gene H19 and cancer.
