Two representative examples of pockets in the Pocket2Drug-lowhomol dataset are discussed in detail, a nucleotide binding site in the human mitogen and stress activated protein kinase 1 (MSK1) and a sugar binding site in d-allose binding protein (ALBP) from E. coli. MSK1 is involved in the regulation of mitogen activated kinases and it is required by the tumor-promoter-induced neoplastic cell transformation (Malakhova et al., 2010). Here, RPS6KA5 is linked to neoplasm.
