Nuclear factor-erythroid 2 (NFE2), a transcription factor overexpressed in myeloproliferative neoplasms and important for hematopoietic stem cell maintenance and differentiation (Wang et al., 2010; Di Tullio et al., 2017; Peeken et al., 2018), was down-regulated in HL-60 cells. This evidence concerns the gene NFE2 and myeloproliferative disorder.
