AKT1 and breast carcinoma: The gene set enrichment analysis using the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) database revealed that multiple key carcinogenic pathways such as the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway, nuclear factor (NF)-kappa B pathway, RNA polymerase, and pathways associated with breast cancer were dysregulated as a consequence of differentially methylation profile (Figure 2).
