OS showed that EPOR was significantly associated with the prognosis of COAD, KIRC, LUAD, mesothelioma (MESO), and PAAD (Figure 2A), where a high EPOR expression was associated with a low survival rate in COAD (p = 0.046), KIRC (p = 0.01), and MESO (p < 0.001); a high EPOR expression was associated with high survival rate in LUAD (p = 0.019) and PAAD (p = 0.021), suggesting that a high EPOR expression may be a risk factor for poor prognosis in patients with COAD, KIRC, and MESO, and a low EPOR expression may be a risk factor for poor prognosis in patients with LUAD and PAAD (Figure 2B). The gene discussed is EPOR; the disease is pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
