It remains unclear how YAP1 nuclear trans-localization affects CH6 and OCT4; however, taken together, the results of previous reports [ (Røsland et al., 2009) (Rubio et al., 2005) and our current study suggest that the detrimental effects of MSCs may be due to a subpopulation (i.e., a subclone) of DR-MSCs that potentially contribute to the development of solid tumors due to blockage of differentiation similar to leukemia formation [ (Chopra and Bohlander, 2019) (Nowak et al., 2009). Here, POU5F1 is linked to leukemia.
