JAM-A antagonist peptide (JAM-Ap) blocked the interaction of JAM-A with LFA on neutrophils and monocytes/macrophages and attenuated brain ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)-induced neutrophil and monocyte infiltration into the brain parenchyma (Sladojevic et al., 2014). This evidence concerns the gene F11R and brain ischemia.
