A prominent accumulation of the AD‐like pathologically truncated hTau N368 was also detected in hilus of 10‐month 3xTg‐AD mice, and most hTau N368‐positive cells in hilus were identified as mossy cells, as indicated by co‐labeling of anti‐hTau N368 with calretinin (Figure 2e–f). This evidence concerns the gene CALB2 and Alzheimer disease.
