Among these genes, we found that THBS1, an endogenous inhibitor of angiogenesis [20], presented the most consistent decreased m6A level, and its mRNA level became increased in shMETTL14 PCa cells compared to control cells (Supplementary Fig. 1E, F), we therefore chose THBS1 as a potential targeted gene after METTL14 m6A modification for further studies. Here, METTL14 is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
