The activation of the α7nAChR by its agonist PNU-282987 significantly inhibited the STAT3 signaling activation induced by IL-6 and IL-22 (Fig. 4B and D), indicating that PNU-282987 had the potential to inhibit Th17-mediated inflammation in the skin and alleviate the psoriasis symptom. This evidence concerns the gene IL22 and psoriasis.
