Finally, consistent with a lower tumorigenicity of TET2 CD cells, interrogation of proteomic data obtained from a panel of various breast cancer cell lines (34) showed that TET2 CD cells activated genes encoding proteins enriched in the proteome of low tumorigenic cells and repressed genes encoding proteins that accumulate in highly tumorigenic cells (Fig S1C–F).
