CTSZ and cancer: Using the Pan-Cancer TCGA dataset gathering RNA-seq data from 11,060 patients, an anticorrelation between TET2 expression and mRNA levels of lysosome proteins was confirmed for CLN3, CTSD, CTSF, CTSZ, IFI30, and NAGLU, suggesting TET2 might down-regulate lysosomal genes in various types of cancer (Fig S4E).
