In previous studies, NAP1L1 has been shown to promote tumor cell proliferation in various human malignancies, including colorectal cancer, hepatocellular cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, renal cancer, and neuroendocrine neoplasms [5–8, 14], and overexpression of NAP1L1 is related to a poor prognosis. This evidence concerns the gene NAP1L1 and renal carcinoma.
