In conclusion, miR-361-5p inhibits glycolysis in breast cancer cells and FGFR1, a miR-361-5p target, reverts the anti-glycolytic function of those small RNAs and represses OXPHOS by upregulating LDHA and pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase-1 (PDHK1) function. This evidence concerns the gene PDK1 and breast carcinoma.
