The recently reported “tumour sink effect” highlights an inverse dependence of renal and tumour uptake of [68Ga]Ga-DOTATATE in NET patients with SSTR2-positive tumours and of [177Lu]Lu-PSMA I&T in prostate cancer patients who underwent a single time point PET-CT for staging [12, 13]. This evidence concerns the gene FOLH1 and prostate cancer.
