Interestingly, of the proteins with increased gene expression in these previous studies that were measured in our CSF study, the majority showed increased CSF concentrations in AD individuals with increased t-tau: 4 of 4 (CALB1, NRXN3, SCN3B, SNAP25) proteins from reference [60]; 56 of 67 (84%) proteins from reference [8]; and 200 of 238 (84%) proteins from reference [61] (annotated in data S2, column DF-DG). This evidence concerns the gene CALB1 and Alzheimer disease.
