APOB and Hypertension: The Hcy level (P < 0.001), serum lipid levels such as triglycerides (TG) (P = 0.016), total cholesterol (TC) (P = 0.001), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) (P = 0.003), apolipoprotein A1 (Apo-A1) (P < 0.001), and apolipoprotein B (Apo-B) (P < 0.001), were also significantly higher in the hypertension group compared with controls, except for high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) (P = 0.109) (Table 1).
