Most of the top eQTM genes have been implicated in lung disease for example PAX8; associated with bronchodilator response in children with asthma, ECHDC3 with obesity and asthma in children, LSP1 with acute lung inflammation, HLA‐DQB1 with asthma and total IgE, and KANSL1 with pulmonary function.
