Most belong to the IFN-response family (ISG15/20, IFI16/35/44, IFIT2/3, MX2, OAS1/2/L, UBE23L6, SAMD9, HERC6, EPSTI1, DDX58/60, PARP9/12, CMPK2, USP18, STAT1/2, ADAR, RTF2), but proteins involved in antigen processing/presentation (TAPBP, HLA-A), apoptosis pathway (RIPK1), ubiquitination (RBCK1), and transcription (SP110, HELZ2, PHAX) were also expressed 48 h after infection. The gene discussed is STAT1; the disease is infection.
