However, in our cohort, we observed significantly elevated levels of CD69 and CD38 at baseline and upon SARS-CoV-2 S+S1, M+N and WCL in late convalescent individuals compared to early convalescent individuals, indicating that antigen specific expression of CD38 and CD69 reveals a remarkably persistent reliable and multifaceted hyperactivation in recovered COVID-19 individuals.
