Subjects carrying combined heterozygous and homozygous variant genotype of the two TLR4 SNPs (rs4986790 and rs4986791) had higher odds of AML compared with individuals possessing double wild-type genotypes (OR = 1.66; 95% CI: 1.05–2.64; p = 0.028). Here, TLR4 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
