As shown in Figure 1, upon treatment with a 5 ng/mL solution of TGF-β2, the TEER values were substantially increased and a decrease in FITC-dextran permeability was observed, and these TGF-β2 induced changes were significantly suppressed by PGF2α, but not by OMD. This evidence concerns the gene TGFB2 and occult macular dystrophy.
