In H1N1-infected cells, a higher expression of TNF-α mRNA was observed 2 h post-infection [ghA: (~2.4 log10); ghB: (~3.20 log10); ghC: (~2.82 log10)], with expression levels decreasing to a greater than control level at the 6 h time-point for ghA- (0.63 log10) or ghB- (~0.27 log10) treated samples.
