Among many gene mutations found through NGS-based mutational detection, hepatocyte nuclear factor 1A (HNF1A) was found to be a frequently mutated gene, one of the top 20 mutated genes in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) reported in the International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) database (https://dcc.icgc.org/, accessed on 12 October 2020). This evidence concerns the gene HNF1A and hepatocellular carcinoma.
