Primary Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) or Hughes syndrome: APS is an immune-mediated disorder characterized by pregnancy morbidity and arterial or venous thrombotic events associated with persistent antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL), including lupus anticoagulant (LA), anticardiolipin (aCL) anti-β2-glycoprotein I antibodies (aB2GPI).
