CEACAM8 and neoplasm: In the present study, high-grade CD66b-postive TANs (combining peritumoral and intratumoral) were a significantly good survival marker in the tumor margin (p = 0.044), but not significant in the tumor center (p = 0.011), with trends toward poor survival in the univariate analysis, while the results were not significant in the multivariate analysis in both tumor regions (margin: p = 0.066, center: p = 0.850; data not shown).
