Mice with postnatal duct-specific deletion of HNF6 or LKB1 (also known as serine/threonine kinase 11 (STK11)) exhibit pancreatic duct dilation, which is associated with chronic pancreatitis, including ADM, acinar proliferation and apoptosis, inflammatory infiltration, fibrosis and lipomatosis. Here, STK11 is linked to lipomatosis.
