The expression and 5-year overall survival analysis showed that three genes (PFN2, PSEN1, and SYT1) were significantly upregulated in cancer tissues (Figure 4A), and increased expression levels of each gene were associated with a poorer prognosis in HNSCC patients (log rank test; p < 0.05 and false discovery rate < 0.05; Figure 4B and Table 1). The gene discussed is PFN2; the disease is cancer.
