Elevated expression of the CD133 and SNAI1 proteins in “acidified” EVs was confirmed by Western blotting (Figure 1d,e) that together with the data on the miR-7 and miR-221 miRNA expression (Figure 1a) point on the stronger tumor-promoting properties of “acidified” EVs in comparison to normal ones. This evidence concerns the gene SNAI1 and neoplasm.
