Drugs targeting the BRAF V600E mutation (monotherapy with Raf inhibitors such as vemurafenib [48], or dual therapy with combined BRAF/MEK inhibition with trametinib and dabrafenib [45]) have been proven to be an option in tumours harbouring the mutation; however, BRAF mutations are a very rare finding among adult and especially elderly patients with GBM. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is neoplasm.
